THE COMMUNITY
We were thrilled to return to San Juan—such a warm, caring community. Your steady help during the operation and recovery made everything smoother. Thank you for the meals, soft drinks, and generous donations that kept the clinic going. We also welcomed pets from nearby communities -Jardines del Sol and San José.
VOLUNTEER IN ACTION
Chely makes everything possible in San Juan. She and her volunteer team arrive early, prepared, and smiling—every single day. For over eight years, Chely has given her heart to PEACE, guiding registrations, equipment sterilization for doctors, and post‑op care. Her passion keeps us coming back to San Juan.
MEET CHRIS AND HIS “TITO”
Christopher, age 11, arrived with his “tito” (grandfather) Marcos and a nervous kitty named Manchas—a birthday gift, shyly wrapped in a green sack. For a moment Chris looked afraid, then comforted, trusting our vets to help. While Manchas was seen by our doctors, Chris shared his heart: his mom left for the United States to build a better life, and his grandpa has lovingly raised him. He misses his mom every day and dreams of seeing her soon. The care between grandfather, grandson, and pet was clear—love carrying them through.
THE TEAM
Huge gratitude to our PEACEAnimals vets: Leslie, Anthony, and Pacheco. With steady hands and big hearts, they teamed up with volunteers to care for every animal. They also welcomed Abraham, our new Clinic Director—Anthony paused to share how their work brings health and inspiration to the community.
