Community Collaboration in Altavela: A Week of Progress and Compassion
This week, PEACEAnimals brought its free spay/neuter clinic to Altavela, a growing residential community nestled between Mezcales and San Vicente. Thanks to a committed group of local residents, we’re seeing real, lasting change here. Their tireless efforts to educate neighbors, organize pet owners, and prevent abandonment have made a remarkable difference — transforming Altavela into a model for humane animal care.
A heartfelt thank-you to Dra. Ninfa, who once again opened her home and facilities to host the clinic. Her generosity and community spirit create a welcoming and efficient space for both our team and the families we serve.
We’re also deeply grateful to this week’s incredible volunteers: Cynthia, Denise, Aixa, Lluvia, Manuel, and Miriam. Your dedication and compassion helped ensure dozens of animals received the care they need — and deserve.
Every clinic is a step toward a more humane and healthy future for pets and people alike — and it’s only possible with your support.
