🐾 A Record-Breaking Clinic in Valle de Banderas!

249 animals sterilized. One incredible community. Countless lives changed.

We are proud to share the results of another successful PEACEAnimals sterilization clinic in Valle de Banderas, where our team once again broke a record by sterilizing 249 dogs and cats during the clinic in Valle de Banderas, where on our last clinic here back in April the total number of patients was 237. This !

Behind this number are 249 animals who now have a better chance at healthier lives—and hundreds of future animals who may never be born into situations of abandonment, neglect, or suffering.

❤️ 249 Patients, 249 Stories

Our veterinary team, led by Dr. Anthony, Dr. Pacheco, and Dr. Leslie, worked tirelessly throughout the clinic. Their passion for animals and commitment to this work allows us to continue reaching more families and communities

We are incredibly grateful to our veterinarians for their dedication, professionalism, and compassion. They give so much of themselves during every clinic, and their work makes these numbers possible.

🌟 The Story of Amelia Guitron

Every successful clinic has people behind the scenes who make everything possible. This time, we want to shine a special light on Amelia Guitron, a longtime animal rescuer and an extraordinary PEACEAnimals volunteer.

Amelia helped prepare and organize the clinic space and made sure our entire veterinary and volunteer team had food every day throughout the clinic. But her connection to this work goes back many years.

In 2009, a little female dog arrived at Amelia’s home. She named her Twister. A few months later, Amelia adopted a little male dog named Tigre. Later, Twister had a litter, and Amelia kept one of the puppies, naming him Jenga.

As the years passed, Amelia and her family began to feel increasingly affected whenever they saw an animal being mistreated. They started taking animals in and helping them.

Eventually, the expenses became overwhelming because Amelia made sure every rescued animal was spayed or neutered. She began searching for an organization that could help with sterilizations.

Then, in 2014, she found PEACEAnimals.

The very first PEACEAnimals clinic in Valle de Banderas was held at the Blue Court (Cancha Azul). Since then, year after year, Amelia and PEACEAnimals have continued this beautiful work together.

Today, Amelia has lost count of how many dogs and cats she and her family have rescued.

What she does know is that 23 dogs and 8 cats currently call her home—and the number continues to grow.

Her words beautifully describe why she continues:

“It is something I do not regret at all—giving them a little bit of the much that God gives us to share with those wonderful beings who have no voice but have an enormous heart.”

Amelia represents something very special about animal rescue: sometimes change begins with simply opening your door to one animal in need. One dog became two. Two became a family. And one family’s compassion eventually became a lifelong commitment to helping countless animals.

Amelia, thank you for everything you do. ❤️

🐾 Kenia & Catarino: Love in Action

We would also like to recognize Kenia Cervantes and Catarino Cervantes, who supported this clinic in every way possible.

From helping with the organization and daily work of the clinic to making sure things continued moving throughout the day, Kenia and Catarino showed what genuine love for animals looks like.

Their willingness to help, their kindness, and their commitment to the animals made a real difference.

Thank you, Kenia and Catarino, for being part of the PEACEAnimals family and for showing your community what compassion looks like in action.

🙏 A Community Effort

A clinic of this size cannot happen because of one person or one organization.

It takes veterinarians willing to work long hours, volunteers willing to give their time, families willing to bring their pets, and community members willing to support the work.

The 249 animals sterilized in Valle de Banderas are a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together with a common purpose.

For PEACEAnimals, every sterilization represents more than a number.

It represents one less unwanted litter, one less animal at risk of abandonment, and one more family taking an important step toward responsible pet care.

❤️ Thank you, Valle de Banderas!
