Our recent 3.5-day sterilization clinic in Mezcales was a tremendous success, and we are filled with gratitude for everyone who made it possible.
First and foremost, we would like to thank Pastor Kevin and the entire team at Ministerio de Vida for their incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms and generously allowed us to use their facilities to serve the community’s animals. Pastor Kevin shared how happy he was to help make this work possible, and his kindness was evident every day. He thoughtfully provided coffee and cookies each morning for our veterinarians and volunteers, creating a warm and encouraging start to each busy day.
A special recognition goes to Cinthya, Aixia, and Perla, whose leadership and dedication helped build an outstanding volunteer team. Their coordination, teamwork, and commitment ensured that every patient was treated with the care, dignity, and compassion they deserved. The positive energy and teamwork throughout the clinic were truly inspiring.
Our veterinary team—Dr. Pacheco, Dr. Anthony, and Dr. Leslie—once again demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication. Their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine concern for every animal helped make this clinic run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of care throughout the surgical process.
Together, this remarkable team accomplished something extraordinary: 208 animals were safely sterilized during the clinic. Each surgery represents more than a number—it means healthier animals, fewer unwanted litters, reduced suffering, and a stronger future for the community.
The success of this clinic is a testament to what can be achieved when compassionate people come together with a shared purpose. We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, veterinarian, supporter, and community member who contributed their time, energy, and heart to this effort.
Thank you all for helping create lasting change, one animal at a time.
