PEACEAnimals was back in Altavela last week. We have a great community of supporters in the campaign to spay and neuter cats and dogs here. We are grateful to Dra. Ninfa who opened up her house and yard again for the clinic. Altavela locals Mireya, Sylvia, and Carolina were instrumental in the success this week, helping in promotion, organizing and registering animals, and supervising other volunteers in recovery. Many people in Altavela stay around to help out while waiting for their animals. It is a great way for everyone to get to know the veterinarians and understand the process and witness the labors of the team. We were over capacity every day trying to not turn away anyone again this week. Thanks to Pacheco, Anthony. Leslie, and Mercedes or all the hard work this week!
