This past week, PEACEAnimals, in collaboration with Sociedad Animal, proudly hosted a two-day spay and neuter clinic in La Cruz — and what an incredible success it was!
Over the course of just two days, we sterilized 72 animals, helping prevent future suffering, reduce overpopulation, and create a healthier community for both pets and people.
What truly made this clinic special was seeing the strong participation from local pet owners. We were deeply encouraged by the number of families who brought their beloved dogs and cats, demonstrating a growing awareness and commitment to responsible pet care. Watching community members take this proactive step for their animals reminds us why this work matters so much.
Each surgery represents:
- Fewer unwanted litters
- Reduced risk of disease
- Less stray animal suffering
- A stronger, healthier La Cruz
We are incredibly grateful to the veterinary team, volunteers, and partners at Sociedad Animal who worked tirelessly to make this clinic possible. Their dedication and compassion are transforming lives — one animal at a time.
To the pet owners who trusted us with their companions: thank you. Your participation is what creates lasting change.
This clinic is another powerful step toward our shared mission: a humane, healthy, and sustainable future for animals in our community.
Together, we are making a difference. 🐾✨
