The PeaceAnimals Free spay and neuter clinic was held in the Palma Real development near San Vicente this week. Although we were in San Vicente just a few weeks ago, the clinic this week was able to reach many animals on the other side of town. Local resident Katia has been working for several weeks helping to promote and organize volunteers, as well as negotiating with the condominium association for permission and locating an appropriate site. Miriam Vazquez opened up her home and yoga studio or the clinic and enlisted her yoga students to help out with recovery. The vets worked hard this week to meet the demand with nobody turned away completing 171 surgeries.
