This week’s spay and neuter clinic in San Vicente, held in collaboration with the Municipality of Bahia de Banderas, was a tremendous success—and a powerful testament to the community’s commitment to animal welfare. Thanks to the combined efforts of PEACEAnimals and the Municipality’s “Medio Ambiente” office, we witnessed literally hundreds of people lining up to have their pets, as well as stray and rescued animals, spayed or neutered.

Our dedicated veterinarians—Pacheco, Leslie, and Anthony—worked tirelessly to attend to as many animals as possible. Even so, the overwhelming turnout meant that, unfortunately, some families had to be turned away. This only highlights the urgent and ongoing need for these free services to prevent the cycle of unwanted and neglected dogs and cats.

We are deeply grateful for the financial and personnel support from the Ayuntamiento Bahia de Banderas, whose partnership made this clinic possible. A heartfelt thanks also goes out to Sacnicte, Alex, Manuel, Lluvia, and the many other volunteers who stepped up to help this week. Your dedication and hard work make a world of difference.

Let’s keep working together to create a safer, healthier future for animals and our communities.
